Brisbane 2012: Call for papers extended
The 2012 World Conference on Natural Resource Modeling will be held in Brisbane, Australia, 9-12 July 2012.
The conference theme will be "Natural resource modeling".
The call for papers is now open, please consider joining us "down under" for our 2012 RMA meeting!

The anniversary issue of the RMA Journal, Natural Resource Modeling, is is available online at http://bit.ly/wlWihg. The issue is titled 25 Years of Natural Resource Modeling: Perspectives of Then and Now.

The Resource Modeling Association is pleased to announce that Rick Moll is President-elect. He will assume the role of President at the completion of the 2012 RMA Conference in Brisbane.
We are also pleased to announce that Laura Leites will fill Mike Strub’s position on the RMA Board of directors.

The RMA is pleased to announce the following additions to the RMA board:
President: Keith Criddle
Keith is Stevens Professor of Marine Policy in the University of Alaska Fairbanks School of Fisheries and Ocean Science. He is currently in his second term on the RMA board and hosted the 2009 World Conference on Natural Resource Modeling in Juneau, AK.
Director: John Hearne
John is Head of School for Mathematics and Geospatial Sciences at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He is a former president of the RMA and he hosted both the world conference in South Africa and the one in Melbourne, Australia.
