Call for papers

Abstracts

The conference theme is "Modeling for a Sustainable Environment: Climate Adaptation and Energy, Socio-Economic-Ecological Systems". However, we invite presentations on all topics concerning natural resource modeling. The abstracts should include title, all authors and affiliations and type of presentation. The abstract length should be no more that 500 words.

Abstracts should be submitted electronically to rick.moll@statcan.gc.ca.

Deadline

The abstract deadline is May 12, 2011. Acceptance of Oral and Poster presentations will be announced by May 13, 2011.

Special Issue

Submissions of Papers for review to be considered for the Special Ottawa Conference Issue of the NRM Journal should be prepared in the style of the NRM Journal. (Please see the Journal copy back cover page for detailed "Instructions to Authors" or on-line Author Guidelines at: http://www.wiley.com/bw/submit.asp?ref=0890-8575&site=1).

Deadline

Authors who intend to submit a conference paper for consideration should indicate their intention to do so at the time of submission of conference abstracts (deadline of May 12, 2011).
The deadline for full paper submissions is May 31, 2011. Authors will be notified of acceptance of papers for the Special Issue at the June Conference in Ottawa.
