Election of RMA officers

The RMA is pleased to announce the following additions to the RMA board:

President-elect: Keith Criddle

Keith is Stevens Professor of Marine Policy in the University of Alaska Fairbanks School of Fisheries and Ocean Science. He is currently in his second term on the RMA board and hosted the 2009 World Conference on Natural Resource Modeling in Juneau, AK.

Director: John Hearne

John is Head of School for Mathematics and Geospatial Sciences at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He is a former president of the RMA and he hosted both the world conference in South Africa and the one in Melbourne, Australia.

The recent conference in Juneau was a typical RMA conference: small, friendly, a meeting place for interested scientists and students and over far too soon! The location was spectacular Juneau, capital of Alaska. For more information, please see the 2009 conference page.

Addition of old newsletters to the site

Diane Beres has forwarded several old newsletters, which can be found on the newsletter page, thanks Diane! We are still missing some, such as winter 2005, summer 2005 and fall 2006. If you have copies of these or any others we would very much appreciate .pdf copies if at all possible.
